Kershaw County deputies are looking for a man who took money and a clerk's purse from a convenience store in Lugoff in late October.
Deputies said a male entered the Kangaroo located at 840 Hwy 1 South around 5 p.m. on October 27 and showed a handgun to the clerk. He proceeded to go around the counter and take money from the cash drawer.
Before leaving, he also took the clerkâs purse that contained her ID and wallet, investigators said.
The clerk said the robber raised the orange mask revealing his skin color. She said he had dark skin and was clean shaven.
After taking the cash and purse, the suspect exited the business and ran into the First Citizen Bank parking lot. He then got in the passenger side of a waiting White Chevrolet HHR being driven by an unknown white male.
Kershaw County deputies and Crimestoppers are asking for help to identify the man.
