After a four month undercover operation, Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office narcotics investigators arrested four men on a multitude of drug charges.

Deputies say the four month undercover operation targeted the “Dixonville” area of Kershaw County, known for drug trafficking.

According to deputies, 23-year-old Brandon Dixon, 24-year-old Terrence Dixon, 32-year-old Antwan Simmons and 22-year-old James Arthur all face multiple counts of distribution of crack cocaine and all four have previous narcotics arrests.

According to Kershaw County Sheriff Jim Matthews, KCSO narcotics investigators have been targeting drug activity in the Dixonville area of Kershaw County since he took office. This was the result of numerous complaints from the community. “Citizens were very concerned about the constant drug dealing activity in this small area of the county which sits adjacent to a school,” said the Sheriff. “This has been going on for years and it was time that we devoted some serious assets to clean this area up. I am hoping this will end the drug dealing in this area, at least for the present time. We will continue to monitor this area and address future drug activity when it arises.”

Brandon Steven Dixon is being charged with 2 counts of distribution of crack cocaine (3rd offense), 2 counts of distribution of crack cocaine in proximity to a school. When arrested, he was out on bond for possession of crack cocaine (3rd offense) and on probation for distribution of crack cocaine (2nd offense) following his arrests in 2011.

Terrence Ayria Dixon is charged with 3 counts of distribution of crack cocaine (1st offense) and 3 counts of distribution of crack cocaine in proximity to a school. At the time of his arrest he was out on bond for possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and controlled substances from  2011 and 2012 arrests.

Antwan Levaris Simmons is being charged with 4 counts of distribution of crack cocaine (4th offense) and 4 counts of distribution of crack cocaine in proximity to a school. He was recently arrested for distribution of crack cocaine (3rd offense), possession of crack cocaine (3rd offense), possession of marijuana (2nd offense) and 2 counts of child neglect.

James Perry Arthur is being charged with 3 counts of distribution of crack cocaine (2nd offense) and 3 counts of distribution of crack cocaine in proximity to a school. At the time of his arrest Arthur was out on bond for possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine following his arrest in early 2012.
