The 8th Annual Race to Read is in the record books! Approximately 150 attended the event on Saturday, September 29.

Proceeds from the race, which was sponsored by KershawHealth, are used to fund early-literacy efforts in Kershaw County, via the Kershaw County Public library and Doby's Mill Elementary School's Dolphin Pups Pre-Kindergarten storytime.

While the race features 2 events (a 5 mile road race and a 1 mile fun-run), it has become a family tradition for many.
