Find Restaurants Serving Locally Grown With New Free App

Finding restaurants that serve fresh, locally grown produce is about to get easier with the Fresh on the Menu (FOTM) app. Commissioner Hugh Weathers and the South Carolina Department of Agriculture (SCDA) will unveil the free app during a 12:30 p.m. press conference June 4 at Blue Marlin, 1200 Lincoln St., Columbia.

Local SUBWAY® restaurants are taking online reservations to try any 3-inch flatbread sandwich from the breakfast menu and coffee for free at participating restaurants in the Midlands area.

 

People can go to the myfreebreakfast.com Web site and select a time and day to visit their neighborhood SUBWAY® restaurant during the breakfast sandwich trial period of Jan. 28 - Feb. 2.

 

The egg sandwich choices include Bacon, Egg and Cheese; Black Forest Ham, Egg and Cheese; and Steak, Egg and Cheese. An egg white option is available for all breakfast sandwiches.
