Under the Sun to Perform at the June Finally Friday | Arts & Culture
Camden, SC – June 21, 2013 – Get ready for the June edition of Finally Friday at the Fine Arts Center of Kershaw County (FAC,) Friday, June 28 when cover band, Under the Sun takes the stage of the Outdoor Pavilion. The June Finally Friday will be from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. and is sponsored by NBSC, Atlas Gym, City Laundry & Cleaners and Graham Realty. The series provides a casual family atmosphere in which to enjoy a variety of live musical styles. Admission is free and food and beverages will be available for purchase. Guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket. The rain location will be on the stage in the Wood Auditorium.
• About the band
Under the Sun is a cover band that has been performing in the Carolinas for six years, appearing in the Carolinas as far north as the Piedmont of North Carolina and as far south as the coastal low country of South Carolina. Lead singer Elizabeth Johnson is joined by other band members Ryan Johnson (drums,) Russ McKissick (guitar,) James Gibson (bass) and Andy Bell (guitar.)
Under the Sun is consistently changing their set lists to accommodate both old and new rock, pop, and country favorites while also doing their best to add requested music whenever possible.
